BlackBerry Storm 9530 from Verizon Available Now

BlackBerry Storm 9530 smartphones from RIM and Verizon Wireless have released now, available to order from the Verizon website. Presumably in stores across America once they open this morning, the Storm 9530 is priced from $199.99 . While we truly think the recently launched Bold is one of the best smartphones on the market, the new Storm 9530 is a game changer for RIM and Crackberry addicts around the world round. Its clickable touchscreen lives up to the hype - it really does offer an honest to goodness tactile response while still offering all of the benefits of an iPhone-like capacitive touchscreen(INFO) display that requires light touches to get things done.

While I don't want to give away all of the goodies before we publish the full review, I thought it might be nice to tease you all a bit with a short video and some first impressions after using the device for a day.

Style wise, the phone has a look similar to that of the Bold, but without all of the hardware. It feels solidly built and is, in truth, a bit on the hefty side. The touchscreen works really well in general, but it seems that the 4.7 version of the BlackBerry OS is still not quite ready. We continue to experience a number of issues with the accelerometer and its auto-rotation function, but are willing to cut RIM a little slack since the Storm is new territory for them. The basic functions of the phone all seem to work fine, and we've been having a good time playing with, and fighting over, the Storm. With nearly 1GB of internal storage and an included 8GB microSD card in the box, there's plenty of room for photos and music alike. I have to admit liking the simplicity of the 3.5mm headphone jack too, so no adapters required. Here are the latest technical specifications of the Verizon Blackberry Storm 9530.

BlackBerry Storm 9530 Features :
  • Network: EVDO Rev A : (1900/800 MHz),
  • GSM/GPRS/EDGE : (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
  • UTMS/HSDPA/HSUPA : 2100MHZ
  • Size : 112.52 x 62.2 x 13.95 mm
  • Display : 3.25 inches HVGA+ with Multi-touch and Gesture Touch (480x360)
  • Camera : 3.2 MP camera with vanity mirror
  • Memory : 1GB flash for media, 192 MB Ram
  • Browser : Full HTML browser

DELL Studio 15 and Studio 17 : New artwork laptop with red stylish design

Dell Studio

Are you happy when you see the beautiful displays of goods? Notebooks nowadays it must be seen beautiful, and that can make people see that impressed. To invite admiration, Dell will expand the range of its notebook Dell Studio with three special edition. Casing color red. There are three options works of three artists in different chassis that can be selected. Joseph is the first artist Amedokpo. Two other artists are Siobhan Gunning and Bruce Mau.

Custom design will be available in the series Dell Studio 15 with the price of each US $ 649, and Dell Studio 17 with the price of each U.S. $ 799. From that money, a $20 contribution from Dell will be made to The Global Fund which will help fund AIDS programs in Africa.

Dell claims that the art is "permanently infused" on the casing and totally durable, so, just like when deciding on a tattoo, be sure you're really committed before the purchase. And if you're too cool for these designs, well, maybe your slightly hip, gaudy great aunt will be interested. Regardless, they're available now online.

About the Designs and the Artists
  • New World : African artist Joseph Amedokpo resides in the town of Vogan, Togo (West Africa) with his wife and five children. He supports his family through painting, using locally produced oils he blends by hand, on canvases made from recycled flour sacks. While painting, Amedokpo chats with frequent visitors and listens to a short wave radio, gaining a global perspective on peoples failures and weakness, as well at their core strength and hope, which is reflected in his art.
  • Shine Within : Award-winning artist Siobhan Gunning was born in Mombasa, East Africa and has had the opportunity to visit many of the unique locations in Africa, like the Great Rift Valley, the Serengeti Plains, the Ngoro Ngoro Crater, and even traveling up the Nile to its source. During these travels she has been privileged to observe wildlife in their native habitat and visit with tribes like the Masai and Samburu. Currently residing in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Gunning combines her passion for Africa with her life experiences and her love of art, design and photography, creating digital collages that often result in "happy accidents" that bring her joy.
  • Healing Patterns : Bruce Mau is the creative director of his self-named design firm, plus founder of the Center for Massive Change. His prolific body of works cuts across many sectors and disciplines including creating books, exhibitions, retail environments, building graphics, park designs, corporate identities to name a few. Mau was inspired by the science behind the fight against AIDS. His artwork represents the chemical bonding of the anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs that help save lives, combining the patterns with inspirational thoughts about the fight against AIDS.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 : HSDPA Phone, Windows Mobile, QWERTY,

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is a smartphone build by High Tech Computer (HTC) Corporation, and is the first in the manufacturer's Xperia series. The X1 was first presented at the 2008 Mobile World Congress.

The XPERIA X1 is dominated by a large 3 inch touchscreen, Sony Ericsson say that is has "wide VGA resolution" which is a little confusing, as it is actually a 480 x 800 pixel panel. 800 pixels is an ideal resolution for web surfing, pitching the XPERIA X1 directly against the Nokia E90.. but the XPERIA has the advantage of a touch sensitive display.

There's a slide-out QWERTY keyboard on the X1, but unlike many rival devices, this is an ergonomic "Arc slider". What this means is that the XPERIA curves when it opens, giving a better typing position than a "flat" slider. On the back is a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. Sony Ericsson do state that the XPERIA is capable of video calling too, although it is difficult to see where the secondary camera is hidden. The X1 can also capture VGA resolution video at up to 30 frames per second.

Olympus launches new E-30 DSLR Camera

Olympus, a famous camera manufacturer, is again in news for introducing its new Prosumer DSLR, Olympus E-30 Camera. This latest innovation in the digital camera world has all that is required to stand up against the competition.

Olympus E-30 Digital SLR Camera comes with a number of AF Points and a better viewfinder. The new E-30 comes fitted with a small albeit rotating screen. This camera features a redone f2.8 – 3.5 Zuiko 14 - 54 lens with less noise production.

Olympus E-30 islarger than E-520, both is width and height but is less tall than the E-3, thanks to its new viewfinder while isn't as big as the E-3 but has the same extremely fast AF system, it still sounds better than most of the others. The other obvious exterior feature is the camera’s tilt and swivel LCD. It’s a 2.7 inch, 230,000 dot unit, meaning it can show the same level of detail as the E-3, though not in the same league as the latest offerings from several other manufacturers that are beginning to feature 920,000 dots on screens of similar sizes. Like its mid range peers, a battery grip (HLD-4) is available. It also offers a distinctly professional 1/8000th sec fastest shutter speed and 1/250th sec maximum flash sync speed. The E-30 sounds like it might be a really nice camera. It also incorporates a flip-and-twist LCD, which makes Live View a lot more useful and which none of its big competitors offer. It has a built-in electronic level, like the Nikon D3.

    Olympus E-30 DSLR Specifications :
    • Sensor : 12.3MP Live MOS
    • Color depth : 12-bit
    • ISO range : 100 – 3200 (100-1600 in auto)
    • Focal-length multiplier : 2x
    • Continuous shooting speed : 5 fps , 98% coverage
    • Viewfinder : 1.02x magnification, fixed focusing screen
    • AF : 11 zones (all cross-type)
    • Live View : Yes
    • LCD size : 2.7 inches, tilt and swivel
    • Approximately price : $1,299

New LEICA S2 System : 37 megapixels DSLR Professional Camera

Leica has announced a brand-new digital photographic system. The first camera in the new S-system, the 37-megapixel Leica S2, is aimed at the top-end professional photographer shooting advertising, fashion and other commercial work. Its sensor is 56% larger than those used in 35mm full-frame DSLRs.

Designed from scratch in consultation with professional photographers, the Leica S2 does not use a conventional medium format or 35mm platform. The S2’ bespoke Kodak CCD sensor has enabled the Leica designers to produce the smallest camera in its class, sitting between the Canon EOS 5D and 1Ds Mk III DSLRs in size. The Leica image processor developed with Fujitsu specifically for the Leica S2, allow the camera´s lenses, firmware and sensor to function at their optimum, producing market leading processing time and the highest level of picture quality with minimal energy output. Nine new lenses will be developed for the new Leica S-system.

There’s little doubt that Leica will produce a high quality camera and equally high quality lenses to go with it. Whether it will succeed in establishing a presence in the medium format digital market we may have to wait at least a year to see.

    LEICA S2 Specifications :
    • Large 30x45mm sensor containing 37 million pixels
    • Small body similar to that of a professional 35mm DSLR
    • Weatherproof seals
    • 3" high-quality LCD screen
    • Dual shutter system – focal plane or leaf
    • Records files in open DNG format
    • Range of nine new lenses, including a 120mm macro, tilt-and-shift 30mm, 70mm f/2.5 standard lens and 24 mm ultrawide angle
