Asus Eee PC S101 , HP Mini 1000, Lenovo Ideapad S10 or Dell Inspiron Mini 9 : Which is the best choice ?


Asus launches new Eee PC S101, an ultra-thin 10.2 inch netbook, 0.75 inches thin and weighs 2.3 pounds. It features the Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, and hybrid storage that consists of a 16GB solid state drive and 30GB HDD. The mate display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and uses LED backlight.

Asustek’s mini-laptop also includes a web camera, 802.11n wireless module, Bluetooth, multi-card reader, and multi-touch trackpad. The netbook comes in “copper brown” and “graphite” versions and provides 5.4 hours of battery life, according to the PC maker.

The Asus S101 has upscale brushed-metal design outshines other Netbooks, almost as slim as the MacBook Air but more expensive than similar Netbook configurations; hard-to-use and also have tiny keyboard.
