ASUS Eee Top touchscreen 20 and 22-inch PC coming early 2009


ASUS CEO Jerry Shen has revealed some more details of the company’s plans for the Eee Top all-in-one PC, which officially launched yesterday. Shen has previously suggested that the touchscreen desktop would be a ‘flagship product’ for 2009; now, he’s confirmed that 20- and 22-inch versions will launch in the first half of next year.

As we know, ASUS has announced the launch of a new Eee Top ET1602 in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the UK, with an initial volume of between 100,000 and 200,000 units. According to initial impressions during the official presentation, the new interface touch of this ASUS netbook is especially simple and very good response. ASUS Eee Top ET1602 carries audio / video and images features and supported by Windows XP for operational system.

Asus Eee Top ET1602 netbook is powered by Atom processor of 1.6GHz with 160GB hard disk, 1GB of RAM and WiFi b/g/n and covered by a 15.9-inch panel with 1366 x 768 resolution and the price equivalent to $ 600.
