Lenovo ThinkPad W700DS Dual-Display Laptop
Lenovo introduce a new ThinkPad laptop that features 2 LCD screens, ThinkPad W700DS that suitable for photographers, graphic artists, application developers, stock market analyst and other professional user. The ThinkPad W700ds appears to be the first laptop ever that has two LCD screens, a 17-inch CCFL-backlit display with 1920x1200 pixel resolution and a smaller 10.6-inch LED-backlit panel with 768x1280 resolution.
Lenovo W700DS Thinkpad notebook will be powered by Quad-Core Intel Core 2 processors, NVIDIA Quadro mobile graphics CPU (512MB NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M or 1GB NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700M), a pair of conventional hard drive / solid-state drive bays up to 960GB of storage, up to 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM memory, and also runs under dual fans and dual heat reduction systems to make the device stay cool to optimize the performance.
The dual-screen model weighs 4.96 kg with one hard-drive, compared to the single-screen model at 3.83kg, and both have WiFi, Bluetooth, dual-link DVI, gigabit ethernet, five USB 2.0 ports and three Mini-PCIe slots. As for pricing, the Lenovo Thinkpad W700DS could reach the market with a price tag at a minimum of $3,600 and will be released to the market early next year.
