Always Innovating Touch Book Tablet Netbook



Always Innovating, the electronics company is based in Menlo Park, California previews its new Touch Book at the DEMO 09. The Always Innovating Touch Book is a netbook tablet with detachable keyboard... so if you remove the keyboard, this Touch Book becomes a touchscreen tablet PC... I called it as Tablet PC Netbook.

The Touch Book netbook powered with Texas Instruments's ARM OMAP3 600MHz processor, a 8.9-inch display with 1024×600 resolution touchscreen, 8GB microSD card, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, G-Sensor, Open Source OS and 10 up to 15 hours battery life which comes from two separate batteries, one in the keyboard attachment and the others in the Tablet PC.

The Always Innovating Touch Book is expected to be launched in late spring at the end of May, but the manufacturers are taking pre-orders now on this new combination Netbook or Touchscreen PC with the starting price $299 USD for only the tablet PC and $399 for both the tablet and the removable keyboard. Glacier Computer announced the new Everest E4000, an ultra-rugged tablet PC and certified for both military and industrial ruggedization standards. This tablet PC has been designed to be vibration, dust, shock, and rain resistant and enable you to take notes quickly and work in outdoor spaces. Everest E4000 comes with three optional screen size, 10-inch, 12-inch, 15-inch (1024×768 pixel resolutions) that run choices Windows XP Pro, XP Embedded and Linux operation system. It powered by 1.4GHz Intel Pentium M processor with 1GB RAM, 16GB SSD memory, Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b, ports for USB, Cardbus peripherals and Firewire.

I think the Glacier Computer Everest E4000 as great as Panasonic Toughbook products. The price Glacier Everest E4000 is starting from US $2,500 to US $4,500, depending on the specifications and size. Tablet PC Dell Latitude XT2 Long Life Battery 11 hours



Dell Industry have officially announced the Latitude XT2 Multi-Touch Tablet PC 12.1-inch (1,280 x 800 pixel). Dell said the tablet PC can be saved 11-hours of battery life (6-cell plus battery slice) and maximum 5GB DDR3 memory in a thin 0.98 inch chassis. The Dell Latitude XT2 Tablet PC will be release this month in Japan and other Asian countries (and maybe in Australia too) with approximately price US $2,390, but no information when this gadget will be release in Europe and United States.
