Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo 7935 Zero-Watt PC

Fujitsu Siemens Computers have plan to release zero-watt PC Esprimo 7935 in the middle of this year. What's differences this PC with another products ? Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo 7935 is an enterprise desktop computer that consumes no energy when switched off (zero-energy consumption). Most electronic devices still consume a very small amount of energy between 1 watt and 4 watts even when switched off because of losses in the transformer or sensors that remain active for functions such as remote power on. Fujitsu Siemens says it has solved this problem by allowing the machines to be awake and consuming a very small amount of power during a predefined time-slot during which updates can take place.

The Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo 7935 Personal Computer green energy also comes with a power adapter that is 89 percent efficient, it means less electricity is wasted through heat, and motherboards with no halogen/lead. The PC conforms to the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency's) Energy Star 5.0 standard, and the German Blue Angel mark. How about price ? It looks like will be launch approximately €600 or €700 ($ 759 to $ 891 USD), but availability outside of Fujitsu Siemens sales area was not announced, we only can hope this zero-watt PC Esprimo 7935 anti global warming also delivered to US, Australia and Europe market immediately with the reasonable price.
